He was a wonderful man. It was a silly show, but he would also draw. So I can relate. It always got me excited and I would grab my pencils and paper and draw along with him.<br/><br/>This is a sweet tribute and a really fun illustrations. But of course, your drawings are always a lot of fun and well executed. When I was a kid, there was a man dressed up like a sailor who hosted Popeye cartoons (o.k. that dates me a bit.)
